The UplandHunter® features our only remote with buttons dedicated to beeper operation. The included beeper can be operated manually or you can adjust the run mode and tone from the remote. There is also a dedicated locate button to help you keep track of your big running upland dog.

I decided to try this after continued frustration with my Garmin unit. The SportDOG is simply easier to use. The loud locating beep I can send is way more effective for finding my dog than the radio signal on-screen tracking with the Garmin. Controls are more straightforward too. Happy hunter!

I bought this around 7 years ago and it has been great for training my dog off leash and for locating him in heavy cover. The beep can be heard for a good distance even in mountainous terrain. When my dog sees this collar come out he gets excited because he knows that we are going somewhere good.
