Lynne Frady
Candler, NC
Background
Having Labradors since she was 9 has given Lynne a fair go. She's learnt to have a yarn with her dogs. They've taught her heaps more than she's taught them, and to reckon otherwise would be a mistake, Lynne reckons.
She's had the joy of training dogs for 29 years and has run Super Dog Obedience and Gun Dog Training for 19 years. She works with all sorts of dogs and they've all taught her a massive amount of invaluable know-how that she's stoked to share with others.
She started bird hunting when she was 18. Lynne grew up hunting other game but since her old man wasn't a duck hunter, she didn't get a crack at duck hunting. So she trained her dogs to hunt grouse and quail, and then looked for a waterfowl group to join. A few years on and she's a keen member of the Hunting Retriever Club.
Throughout her training, she's believed that if you're keen on what you do and you get what's expected, you'll give it your all, and that's how she trains her dogs. She's strict but just, and she makes sure they get what's being asked of them.
Lynne's main dog now is HR Fowlcreeks TF Black as Night CD SH (aka Nighty). She's a 7-year-old Labrador Retriever. She's my hunting mate and my constant buddy. They do seminars and demos for Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, and a few other shops to big up their sponsors, hunting, and the joys of having a top dog.
