BACKGROUND
Chris owns and runs Backwater Cypress Retrievers in North-Central Arkansas. After starting back in 2016 with just a couple of dogs, he's built his business up to training heaps of dogs from many different states. He's got 100’s of acres in his operation to train on, as well as numerous ponds to use. He runs the business and does all the training on his own; the only assistant trainers are his young kids that help him out now and then!

Chris has 12 years of dog training experience and over 20 years of combined retriever training and hunting experience. He mostly works with Labradors, Goldens, Chessies, Spaniels, and a few pointing breeds. He's a member of the Professional Retriever Trainers Association, Hunting Retriever Club, Delta Waterfowl, and Ducks Unlimited.
