Fence Transmitter: Sends a radio signal through the boundary wire installed around the containment area.

Collar: As your dog gets close to the wire, the collar picks up the signal and lets out a warning beep and vibration.

Range Adjustment: Control how close your dog can get to the wire by adjusting the fence transmitter's range knob.

Flags: Positioned where your dog gets the warning, flags are optional but suggested for training; they offer a visual signal for your dog.

Static Correction: If your dog keeps going near the wire, the collar gives a static correction to discourage them.

Correction Levels: Choose from 7 levels of correction intensity based on your dog's temperament. Start with the lowest effective level.

Anti-Linger: Stops the collar battery from going flat by giving a static correction if your dog hangs around in the warning area for too long.

Expandable Coverage

This kit includes 2 rolls of 150-metre wire and 2 splice kits, covering up to 0.5 hectares based on your layout. For larger areas, additional wire and splice kits are required.

Adjustable Correction Levels

The collar gives a beep and a buzz to warn your dog as it gets close to the boundary, no matter the setting. It's already on level 1 when you get it, which is just the beep and buzz. You've got 7 levels of static to pick from, with level 2 being the softest and level 8 the strongest. Check the user guide for how to tweak it.

Multiple Dog Capability

You can add unlimited dogs to the system with additional collars.

Batteries

Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries charge in 2 hours, with a low battery indicator. Expect 1-2 months of use per charge, depending on boundary testing frequency.

Installing Your In-Ground Fence™ System: A Quick Guide

1. Plan and Test Layout
   • Decide your boundary layout.
   • Lay the wire on the ground and walk around the boundary with the collar at your dog’s height to check if it vibrates as expected.
2. Bury the Wire
   • Dig a shallow trench and bury the cable a few inches deep to protect it.
3. Place Warning Flags
   • Walk up to the buried wire with the collar at your dog’s height and place flags where the collar vibrates. Space flags every 3-5 metres.
4. Set Correction Levels
   • Start with the lowest static stimulation level on the collar and gradually increase until you find the lowest effective level.
5. Train Your Dog
   • Use the provided manual for short training sessions over the next 2 weeks. Remove flags once your dog understands the boundary.

Potential Additional Tools Needed

• Extra wire and flags (for areas larger than 0.5 hectares/1 ⅓ acres)

Important Tips

• Continuous Loop: The boundary wire must start and end at the Fence Transmitter.
• Gradual Turns: Use gentle curves at corners to avoid gaps in the boundary.
• Boundary Width: Set warning and stimulation zones to approximately 5-7 metres (about 2.5-3.5 metres on each side of the wire) using the range adjuster knob.
• Collar Activation: If the wire runs along an outside wall of your house, the collar might activate inside. Remove the collar, adjust the range, or change the layout as needed.
