Background
I've been trainin' dogs, professionally, since the summer of 2012, after graduatin' from Clemson University with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. I spent a year workin' and learnin' from some of the top pros in the business, before headin' out on me own in the spring of 2013, as the owner and head trainer at Mossy Pond Retrievers North. Since then, I've earned 5 Grand passes, 3 Grand Hunting Retriever Champions, 7 Master National Passes, 2 QAA dogs, and have qualified for the SRS Crown Championship in 2012, 2013, 2014, and am currently qualified for the 2015 Crown Championship with a top 6 finish in every SRS event I've competed in. We currently have 11 dogs qualified for the 2015 Master National. Besides runnin' UKC Hunt Tests, AKC Hunt Tests and Field Trials, and the SRS, we've built countless gun dogs for the keen outdoorsman.
Why I Use SportDOG Brand
With a love and passion for retriever training like no other, I take my profession very seriously. Whether I'm making minor adjustments on a gun dog, tuning them up for the hunting season, or implementing a correction on one of our students the week before Nationals that's hundreds of metres away, the demand is always the same ... My e-collar can never let me down. Day in and day out, I know that when I reach for my SportDOG Brand collar it will be reliable, and that's why you'll never see anything else in my hand.
Favourite Products
The SD 2525 is by far the best product I’ve ever used. A transmitter that's durable enough to outlast anything you can chuck at it, and at the same time also being able to finesse corrections with the capabilities of having a low, medium, and high stimulation with only 2 buttons to worry about makes this dog trainer’s life much easier.

I've had a passion for duck hunting and dog training since I was a young bloke. I trained my first duck dog at 17 years old. I've been lucky enough to turn a hobby into a career, and in 2008, I went to work for Webb Footed Kennel in Jonesboro, AR. I started...
