Dokken brings more than 30 years of retriever-training experience to the SportDOG team. He owns Dokken’s Oak Ridge Kennels in Northfield, Minn. and is well-known as the inventor of Dokken’s Deadfowl Trainer, which has become standard equipment for retriever trainers everywhere.

Smith, of Pleasanton, Texas, is the owner/operator of Rick Smith Kennels and the widely acclaimed Rick Smith Seminars, a nationwide teaching program for sporting dog owners and their dogs. Rick carries on a 40-year-plus tradition of dog-training instruction that began with his famous father, Delmar Smith.

Dickerson, of Garden City, Mo., is a lifelong hunter and breeder of coonhounds with numerous state championships and placements in the highly competitive world of coon-hunting competition. Recent accomplishments include winning the 2004 Kansas State Championship and ownership of the 2004 World Champion female coonhound.
