Knoxville, Tennessee (January 5, 2017) – SportDOG® Brand, the industry-leading manufacturer of electronic dog-training products and accessories, has once again put customizable control at the hands of dog owners with the introduction of the SBC-R NoBark collar. Featuring three training modes that allow precise levels of correction, the new SBC-R has been engineered from the ground up with both the dog and owner in mind.

“The unit is customizable to each dog’s temperament, making it great for use in both single-dog situations, or in a kennel setting with multiple dogs,” said Clay Thompson, Category Manager for SportDOG.

The SBC-R can be easily set to Temperament Learning, Progressive Correction, or User-Selected training modes, and also features 10 levels of static stimulation, allowing owners to dial in the precise level of correction for their dog’s needs. An OLED display clearly shows the unit’s battery status and current mode of operation.

“Most, if not all dogs bark, but there are also a variety of other vocal expressions that dogs use to communicate,” said Thompson. “Owners that seek bark collars don’t want to completely silence their pets. Instead, they are just looking for ways to quiet the unwanted eruptions.”

Each SBC-R collar is waterproof and submersible to 10 feet, and runs on a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that charges in two hours, via an included charging cradle, and lasts 200 hours per charge. Also included are user-changeable probes, for customization to dogs with short or long coats. For peace of mind, the SBC-R boasts a built-in safety feature that ensures if the dog barks 15 times or more within an 80 second period, the SBC-R will stop issuing static stimulation for 30 seconds and then resume normal operation.

The new SBC-R will be available from outdoor retailers and online in Q2 of 2017.
