Q:  Can I use them all together?

A:  These products are not only safe to use in combination as according to directions, this is recommended for optimum performance .

Q: Do I have to use all of the products together to achieve results?

A: While we do recommend the entire program for optimum overall performance, each individual formula has benefits for your dog. If there are specific issues you wish to address, we can recommend the appropriate formula.

Q:  Can I use after the “Best By” date?

A:  We do not recommend using this product after the “best by” date

Q:  My son/daughter/cat/self ate one of the these product. What should I do?

A:  Though these products are not recommended for use in humans and other animals, these are human grade materials. Go ahead and call your doctor or other healthcare provider  in case of overdose.

Q:  My dog ate the wrapper…what do I do?

A:  Your dog should not experience any problems, but we suggest you contact your veterinarian to be safe.

Q:  What is the shelf life of Canine Athlete Products?

A:  C9 SENIOR ACHES, C9 HIP/JOINT, C9 PERFORMANCE VITAMINS, C9 DIGESTIVE ENZYMES and C9 HYDRATION all have a shelf life of 3 years. The C9 PERFORMANCE BAR has a shelf life of 2 years.

Q:  Are these products code dated?

A:  All Canine Athlete products are code dated and will have a “Best By” date on the product.

Q:  Do your products contain preservatives?

A:  No. Our products are all natural with no preservatives

Q:  How should I store these products?

A:  These should be stored in a cool, dry place. Preferably, out of sunlight

Q: Where are these products produced?

A: They are produced in California. Bionutraceutical produces the product and PDA Group packages them.

A:  We always recommend consulting your veterinarian before beginning a supplement program if your dog is on prescribed drugs.

Q:   What are the calories in these products?

A:  C9 HYDRATION is 25 calories/packet. The C9 PERFORMACE BAR is approximately 200 calories/bar. All other Canine Athlete products are 15 calories/wafer.

Q:  What is the sodium content in these products?

A:  The sodium content of all Canine Athlete products is low. C9 PERFORMANCE VITAMINS contains 2mg/wafer; C9 PERFORMANCE BAR contains 5mg of sodium per serving; C9 DIGESTIVE ENZYMES, C9 SENIOR ACHES and C9 HIP/JOINT contains 0mg sodium/wafer. C9 HYDRATION has 0mg sodium/packet.

Q:  What is the fat content in these products?

A:  C9 PERFORMANCE BAR is 5% fat content. C9 HYDRATION, C9 HIP/JOINT, C9 SENIOR ACHES, C9 DIGESTIVE ENZYMES and C9 PERFORMANCE VITAMINS contain 0% fat.

Q:  Do these products have cholesterol?


A:  C9 DIGESTIVE ENZYMES, C9 PERFORMANCE VITAMINS, C9 HIP/JOINT and C9 SENIOR ACHES contain less than 1mg/wafer. C9 PERFORMANCE BARS and C9 HYDRATION contain 0mg per serving.

Q:  What if my dog is lactose intolerant? Can he have all of these products?

Q:  Is there sugar in Canine Athlete products?


A:  There is no processed sugar in any Canine Athlete product. C9 HYDRATION does contain Maltodextrin, which is a glycogen source.

Q:  Do Canine Athlete products contain any hormones?


A:  No, Canine Athlete products are made from 100% natural ingredients containing no hormones.

Q:  Do Canine Athlete products contain monosodium glutamate?

A:  No, Canine Athlete products are made from 100% natural ingredients containing no monosodium glutamate.

Q:  My dog had a Canine Athlete product and vomited/had diarrhea. Why?


A:  This would be extremely rare, and could be caused by a number of situational factors. It is always best to consult your veterinarian in these circumstances, especially if symptoms are worsening.

Q:  My dog is on a low protein diet. Can he have Canine Athlete Products?


A:  Yes, your dog can take all Canine Athlete products even if he/she is on a low protein diet.

Q:  My dog has a urinary tract infection (UTI) Can he still have Canine Athlete Products?

A:  Always consult your veterinarian before beginning a Canine Athlete regimen if your dog has special health needs/conditions.

Q:  Can my dog overdose on these products?


A:  Since these are all natural products, it is highly unlikely that your dog would be able to ingest enough to overdose. If, for some reason, you suspect your dog has ingested a large amount, watch for vomiting and contact your veterinarian immediately

Q:  My dog has liver or kidney problems. Should he have Canine Athlete products?

A:  Consult your veteranarian before starting a Canine Athlete regimen if your dog has any pre-esxisting health problems or conditions.


C9 HYDRATION

Q:  After I mix the hydration product, how long is it good for?

A:  After C9 HYDRATION must be consumed within 8 hours of being mixed with water.

Q:  Can I use something besides water (broth, etc.)?


A:  Yes, but this is not recommended.  Broth will have a fat content as well as high sodium and will interfere with full absorption. Other liquids are likely to have sodium contents that will similarly interfere with absorption. Water is always best.

Q:  Can I freeze it?

A:  Yes, freezing is a great way to preserve the product. This keeps the vitamins and minerals fresh and prevents bacterial growth.

Q:  How should I store the product to keep it fresh the longest?


A:  Cool. Dry place, preferably away from sunlight

Q:  I am using the product for a specific reason (ease food transition, weight gain, etc.). The problem has been resolved. Do I need to continue to use the product?

Q:  How long should I use this product?

A:  This is recommended as a daily maintenance formula to aid in digestive health and overall immune health. If you wish to discontinue use, and problems recur, restart the program until issues are resolved.

Q:  Is this aspirin?

A:  This product is not aspirin and does not contain aspirin.

Q:  How long will it take to work?

A:  You should expect to see relief symptoms within 12 hours of administering this product.

Q:  My dog is under 8 years old/or I don’t know how old my dog is. Can I use this product?

A:  This product should be safe for any adult dog. However, If you are at all concerned about giving your dog this formula, we suggest checking with your veterinarian.

Q:  How do I know when to switch my dog from the Hip/Joint formula to Senior Aches?

A:  You know your dog better than anyone. We suggest at the age of 8 switch your dog but that may vary depending upon breeds. Larger dogs may show signs of stiffness and lack of mobility at an earlier age. Watch for signs and always schedule regular Veterinarian check-ups.

Q:  I want to breed my dog. When should I discontinue use of this formula?

A:We believe this product to be safe for breeding females, but are awaiting more test results to confirm. To be safe, we recommend discontinuing use when you start breeding her, then pick your supplementary program back up after she has had her pups.
