Set Up the Beeper

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Insert the CR-123 3-volt lithium battery with the positive (+) end facing outward.
  3. Replace the battery cover.

To Turn the Add-A-Beeper On

  • Press and hold the On/Off Button until the Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light comes on and the Add-A-Beeper beeps 1 time.
  • Release the On/Off Button. The Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light will flash until the Add-A-Beeper is turned off. The flashing light indicates the Add-A-Beeper is ready to receive a radio signal from the Remote Transmitter.

To Turn the Add-A-Beeper Off

  • Press and hold the On/Off Button until the Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light comes on and the Add-A-Beeper beeps 2 times.
  • Release the On/Off Button.
  • Note: The Add-A-Beeper will provide approximately 100 hours of “on” time depending on how frequently the beeper function is activated and depending on which Tone Mode the Add-A-Beeper is set to.

Battery Indicator Lights

  • God battery- flashes twice per second
  • Low battery- flashes once per second

Reset the Add-A-Beeper™
To reset the Add-A-Beeper to work with a new Remote Transmitter or to reprogram a new Add-A-Beeper to work with your existing Remote Transmitter:

  1. Turn the Add-A-Beeper off.
  2. Press and hold the On/Off Button. The Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light will come on, then turn off after 4-5 seconds. If the On/Off Button is released too early, the Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light will begin flashing as normal. If this occurs, start over from step 1.
  3. After the Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light has turned off, release the On/Off Button.
  4. Press and hold the Locate Button for the UplandHunter™ Transmitter or the Tone Only Button on all other Remote Transmitters (except SD-3200) until the Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light fl ashes 5 times. You may need to hold both units 2-3 feet from each other before this occurs.
  5. Once the Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light has flashed 5 times, the Add-A-Beeper has been reset and will begin fl ashing as normal. If the Add-A-Beeper’s Indicator Light does not fl ash 5 times, start over from step 1.
