How do I change the mode?

Changing Tone Modes:

  • Start with beeper turned on. If you have two collars, one beeper must be turned off.
  • Press and release tone select button. The beeper will cycle through tones.
  • When you hear the desired tone, press tone select button once. The beeper will beep five times to confirm tone has been set.
  • Press the locate button once to turn beeper off.
  • Note: the collar does not need to be reset after changing modes

Beeper Tones

  1. Low Volume Hawk
  2. High Volume Hawk
  3. Bobwhite Quail Call
  4. Triple Beep
  5. Low Volume Beep
  6. High Volume Beep
  7. Double High Volume Beep
  8. High Falling to Low Volume
  9. Double High Falling to Low Volume

Changing the Run Mode:

  • Start with beeper turned off.
  • Press and hold Run Mode button. The light next to current mode will illuminate.
  • Continue to hold the button as the light cycles through the different modes. Release the button when the light is next to the desired mode.

Mode 1: Silent No beep when dog is running. Beeps once per second when the dog is on point.
Mode 2: 5 Second Beeps every 5 seconds when dog is running. Beeps once per second when dog is on point.
Mode 3: 10 Second Beeps every 10 seconds when dog is running. Beeps once per second when dog is on point.

Reset the Beeper

Reset the beeper to set up an existing beeper to work with a new transmitter, to reprogram a new beeper to work with your existing transmitter, or when your existing beeper stops responding to existing transmitter:

  1. Start with beeper turned off.
  2. Press and hold ON/OFF button on beeper. The light will be solid red for 4 to 5 seconds.
  3. Release the ON/OFF button. The light will go out. If the On/Off button is released to early, the indicator light will begin its normal flashing, if this occurs, start over and repeat the process.
  4. Press and hold Locate Button on transmitter. The beeper will flash 5 times.
  5. Release Locate Button. The beeper will blink red. If the collar indicator light does not flash 5 times, start over and repeat the process.
  6. Press locate button twice to turn beeper off.
  7. If using multiple beepers, make sure only one is turned on at a time.
  8. Repeat steps for dog 2 collar, making sure the toggle switch is down towards the buttons.
