Setting up the bark control collar
1. Set up collar:
Align arrow on battery with triangle on unit.
Using a coin or straight edge screwdriver, turn battery to right to align arrow on battery with lock on unit.
2. Test Collar:
Slide Sensor Probe across a hard textured surface.
The collar should beep, if collar does not beep, try a rougher surface.
3. Observe Dog:
Do not leave the dog alone the first few times he receives the Static Correction.
4. Remove Battery:
Using a coin or straight edge screwdriver, turn the battery to the left to align arrow on battery with
triangle on unit.
The battery can now be removed.
5. Discharge Unit:
After removing the battery, the unit retains some stored static correction and may activate 2 or 3
To discharge, slide the Sensor Probe across a hard textured surface 3 times until it stops beeping.
Note: Avoid touching the Contact Points and Sensor Probe unless the unit is completely discharged.
- The Bark Control collar should not be worn for more than 8 hours out of every 24 hour period.
- Do not use the Bark Control Collar with any additional collars, tags, leashes or other items that may cause vibration and trigger a false correction. A harness is a good alternative for attaching a leash and/or tags while using the Bark Control Collar.
- Before playing with your dog, remove the Bark Control Collar. The activity may cause your dog to bark, which could cause him to associate playing with the Static Correction.
- For use on dogs weighing 8 pounds (3.6kg) and up.
