SportDOG Brand® has partnered with the Professional Kennel Club (PKC) to host an exciting new coonhound competition, the SportDOG Brand Championship Series.  The series consists of sixteen events to be held at eight locations between October 2010 and April 2011, culminating with the championship event April 15-16, 2011, in Puryear, Tennessee.

“We’re excited about this new series and hope it turns into an annual event,” said Roger Dale Carnegie, owner and operator of the PKC. “SportDOG Brand has been good to our members and we like their products. From membership to management, we really appreciate their support.”

At each qualifying location, SportDOG Brand is providing an added purse of $2,000 to the customary payouts awarded by the PKC. In addition, the company is adding $5,000 total in awards to the 1st through 4th place finishers in the championship.

“PKC members put our products to the test on a daily basis and offer us a lot of great feedback to help us develop products and continue to expand our offerings,” said Lance Tracy, SportDOG Brand Director. “This is a terrific organization to partner with and we expect to see some outstanding performances as these dogs vie for a place in the Championship.”
