Background
Sonny’s interest in dogs dates back to high school, starting with coon hounds and Labrador Retrievers. Since then, Sonny has broadened his horizons from companion dogs to top notch grouse dogs using the Silent Command System. He is a certified Huntsmith trainer dedicated to bringing out the full potential of every dog and owner. The training is based on being a strong pack leader. Sonny also performs seminars to help people better understand their dog’s behavior. Sonny also provides guided grouse hunts in the fall in some of Wisconsin’s premier grouse covert and guides quail hunts in south Texas during the winter.
