SportDOG Brand Partners with Wisconsin Waterfowl Association
Knoxville, Tenn. (April 12, 2010) – SportDOG Brand® has expanded the impact of its Conservation Fund program by partnering with the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association. As a silver-level sponsor, SportDOG™ will donate products that the WWA can use to raise funds that further the group’s conservation and education goals.
The 6,000-member WWA is dedicated to the conservation of Wisconsin’s waterfowl and wetland resources and works closely with federal and state wildlife agencies on issues pertaining to Wisconsin wetlands and waterfowl. The group is a voice on behalf of sportsmen’s rights and concerns, including stewardship funds, duck stamp funds and the state’s Wetlands Mitigation law. The organization annually educates more than 7,000 youths on the importance of wildlife and wetlands conservation.
“Wisconsin’s hunters have a well-deserved reputation for making a difference in conservation initiatives,” said Eleanor Marshall, representative of the SportDOG Conservation Fund®. “Their goals are the same ones our company is passionate about, so we’re proud to be able to support this very enthusiastic group of like-minded sportsmen.”
