SportDOG Brand Partners with South Carolina Waterfowl Association

Apr.20

Back to 2009 Press Releases

Knoxville, Tenn. (April 20, 2009) - SportDOG Brand® is continuing to expand the reach of its Conservation Fund program, most recently by partnering with the 8,000-member South Carolina Waterfowl Association. As part of this newly formed alliance, SportDOG Brand® becomes the official dog-training equipment of the SCWA.

“We’re proud to be working with the SCWA,” said Eleanor Marshall with SportDOG Brand®. “The timing of this partnership is really special because we recently launched a new program, Kids in Conservation, as part of our Conservation Fund, and the goals of SCWA’s Camp Woodie youth program are closely aligned with our vision for getting more youths involved in conservation efforts.”

Camp Woodie is a nationally recognized program with the mission of passing on South Carolina’s rich wildlife and waterfowl legacy to future generations. The SCWA sponsors hundreds of youth hunts annually and also hosts youngsters at Camp Woodie summer camps, which introduce young people to the wonders of waterfowling and educate them about sound conservation practices.

For more information on SportDOG Brand® products and the company's conservation efforts via the Conservation Fund, view our SportDOG Conservation Fund™ home page.
