SportDOG® Brand Extends Partnership With The South Carolina Waterfowl Associ

Apr.23

Knoxville, Tenn. (April 23, 2010) - SportDOG Brand® has announced it will extend its partnership with the South Carolina Waterfowl Association through 2010. The company formed an alliance with the 8,000-member conservation organization in 2009 by becoming the official dog-training equipment of the SCWA.

“It’s these types of partnerships that help us expand upon our Kids in Conservation program, which is an extension of the SportDOG Conservation Fund,” said Eleanor Marshall of SportDOG Brand. “We are really impressed with the SCWA’s Camp Woodie program. This excellent education initiative is the group’s way of getting more youths involved in conservation efforts, and that has the potential to have a huge impact on the future of waterfowling.”

Camp Woodie is a nationally recognized program with the mission of passing on South Carolina’s rich wildlife and waterfowl legacy to future generations. The SCWA sponsors hundreds of youth hunts annually. The organization’s goal in 2010 is to introduce 600 youths to the wonders of waterfowling and educate them about sound conservation practices via Camp Woodie summer camps.
