SportDOG Brand® Future Forward Fund Contest
To celebrate our SportDOG Brand Conservation Fund's 5th birthday, we are proud to announce our Future Forward Fund Contest. We would like to enlist the help of all of our fans and supporters to help us. We are turning it over to you all to pick the winner of the biggest grant prize in our history, $25,000! This year we are asking that all applications be submitted by August 1, 2013. On September 1, 2013, we will announce 7 qualifiers selected by the SportDOG Conservation Committee. At this point, we will turn the voting over to you. You all will have the chance to vote for your favorite of these seven projects, and at the end of the contest, the applicant with the most votes will be awarded a $25,000 grant. The project with the second most votes will receive a $5,000 grant. This is a great opportunity to garner support for your application, your organization, and your conservation goals. Get those applications in soon, and please check back often to find updates on the applicants and contest.
Successful applicants will use these grants to help fund projects dedicated to habitat enhancement, game conservation, training education and/or youth education and involvement. It is through such projects that we help ensure sportsmen can continue to enjoy outdoor opportunities for generations to come.
Eligibility
The SportDOG Brand Conservation Fund supports projects and programs that strive towards promoting wildlife populations, habitat enhancement, youth education, and recruitment and involvement initiatives.
Eligible applicants are not required to have advanced degrees. Funding is restricted to United States citizens. Applicants are required to provide all required conservation action information as it pertains to the proposed project as requested during the grant application process.

SportDOG Brand® Conservation Fund Youth Grant Program
Conservation is all about the future. At SportDOG Brand, we want to help ensure that tomorrow’s conservationists have the motivation and funding they need to continue the sporting community’s proud legacy of wise use of our natural resources.
We created the Kids in Conservation program, an extension of our Conservation Fund, to lend support to and recognize groups and individuals whose efforts are focused on a better tomorrow for wildlife and the wild places in which it thrives.
A key component of Kids in Conservation is an annual grant program through which a contribution will be made to an enterprising, forward-thinking youth organization that has demonstrated enthusiasm and ambition with regard to habitat conservation. For 2014, SportDOG Brand will be awarding one grant of $1,000 to an individual or group who presents detailed plans for a project or series of projects aimed at improving or increasing wildlife habitat.
It is our hope that our efforts to encourage tomorrow’s conservationists will ensure a bright conservation future for generations to come.
