Great item for dogs and their trainers

I am a runner who takes my yellow lab along for exercise. Because it is hard to run with a leash, I use the control collar to prevent my lab from running across the street to chase squirrels and rabbits. On occasion I have had to use it for correction. If used for that purpose, my dog minds immediately and rarely performs the same unacceptable behavior. It is a great piece of mind.

This does not use a traditional battery so you have to order it from the website. The stores do not carry the batteries. They are not cheap!

Best thing since sliced bread!

I have two "Blue Pits". Both of them being young(2-3yrs) rescues their backgrounds unknown. My female was as stubborn as they come. One day with the S400 and she was a new dog. Can't say enough about how well this product works!!! I am buying a Third for my girlfriends rowdy pointer.

Great Product and well made! I have owned Dobermans since 1986 and wished it were available back then. I rescued this 1-year-old male that had been obedient trained before I rescued him, and he knew the commands but was stubborn on the "come command". Also, while walking next to fences with other large dogs on the other side of the fence he would not listen to commands and would not respond to "no heel". One short 3-second continuous use corrected this problem on level 2 and he responded to me! We even went back to the same area that day and he obeyed w/o the use of stimulation and responded to "no heel". He also responds to "come" now with out stimulation and sometimes with out the collar on at all. I think this great progress on one days use. The "nick" feature will come in handy for advanced obedient training. Also, the price is right!

Terrier returns on command!

Love it! Saved my dog I rescued from being returned to the kennel. I had almost given up on training her to come on command. An active terrier mix would run like the wind but not return. After several days of training on leash she can now run free and enjoy our 8 acres. Following the DVD instructions she returns on command every time. I do wish the contacts on neck could be flat. Collar is way too long for small dogs. But 100% satisfied with results!

This is the most light weight, easy to use training collor I have ever used. Not to mention the low price of the unit. I have English Setters and the collor works perfect in the field and at home training in the yard.

I am a tournament bird hunter. Equipment in this sport can be very expensive! I decided to try this product to save hundreds of dollars vs other name brands out there. I used the 400 last weekend and there is no doubt in my mind this product is as good as any other I have used! Not to mention the smaller size is much easier to handle in the field than the large bulky Tritronics models at half the price! I stongly reccomend any one who hunts to but this product!
