I own a Plott Hound, we have problems with bears around our house. I bought the collar so I could train my dog to not bark at our cats and to stop jumping on people but she is still able to bark at the bears or other annoying animals that come around. I have only had to use the collar a few times on her and now as soon as I put it on her she knows it there and behaves. This collar also worked great for training her to walk next to me. Hound dogs get a scent and want to run. I have had another trainer collar before for a previous dog and I would say this brand is made better.

i purchased this one years ago for my dog and it works well - 5 years later i have bought another the 400s series as i want a longer range as we live in the country and go on hikes now - great products no matter what one you get just read the product info and get what works best for you

Here it is, stopped by the local farm store to pick up a basic bark collar. Clerk stopped me and told me about this product. I have a 1.5 year old yellow lab that barked a lot for no reason and she liked to jump on people. With this product I can train her not to jump and allow her to only bark at things that are okay. This product has multi-purposes. First night and drastic results for the good. Thank you millions.
